Given that the game has only just come out I can imagine there will be plenty of adjustments and tweaks being made so hopefully all the rough spots will get taken care sooner or later of so the game can be as impressive as it looks.Named for the greatest show in Victorian steampunk London, Circus Electrique is part story-driven RPG, part tactics, part circus management, and completely enthralling – all with a steampunk twist. People that crave as much variety as possible can unlock everything while people who like the challenge of the limited options can ignore it completely. Mimes already sort of fit as is.maybe the bread baker refitted with a popcorn cannon and able to be a more healer-ish ems like there are plenty of interesting possibilities that could spice up the game a great deal with new options and team combinations.Īnd if it is kept as a more optional sort of thing, perhaps a new function of one of the circus buildings then it would also likely keep everybody happy. Would be quite cool to see some method of being able to unlock circus-ified versions of at least some of the enemy classes we encounter. Which is frankly disappointing given how interesting the classes are and the sheer variety that is theoretically possible with the steampunk circus concept. From my observations it looks like there are about a dozen in the game, but it also looks like they are heavily tied to story progression if the first boss was anything to go by. The big one is definitely the classes, or lack of them. I very much like this game (currently about halfway through the second map) but it definitely has some wonky parts and some rough edges to it keeping it from being something I would quite happily binge on for hours.
